Road Success
Utah is 5-4-3-1 on the road and 5-2-3-1 in their last 11 road games having gone unbeaten in regulation in nine of the last eleven road games. Utah defeated the Americans in Allen 2-1 on November 1 and going back to last year’s playoffs have won two-straight games in Allen. Utah is unbeaten in two-straight and 1-1-1-0 in Wichita.

All-Star Returns
Defenseman Cliff Watson, who was named an ECHL All-Star last week, rejoins the Grizzlies for their road trip after being called-up on December 4. At the time of his promotion, he was tied for second on the team with six goals and had 14 points in 21 games. Watson scored the game-winning goal for Utah in Allen on November 1.

Point-A-Game
Michael Pelech, in his fourth season with Utah, leads the team in scoring with 33 points in 32 games on 10 goals and 23 assists. He leads Utah with 11 multiple-point games and with nine power-play points on four goals and five assists. Pelech, who will play in his 200th regular season game with Utah Wednesday, has 64 goals and 109 assists for 173 points in the regular season with Utah.

The Offense
Utah has a three-goal period in three of their last four games and five times in the last nine games.

Back In The Lineup
Defenseman James Melindy returned to the Grizzlies on Saturday after his third call-up of the year. The Grizzlies also have received rookie forward Austin Ortega from Anaheim’s AHL affiliate in San Diego. He had one goal and one assist Sunday. Out of the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Ortega played one year with Grizzlies captain Ryan Walters in college.
